Evaluation – To become involved in our Worship Band, we require you to undergo an evaluation so that we can best determine placement and how to utilize your gifts. After filling out an application, our staff will follow up with you regarding the evaluation process.

How Often – Our Worship Bands lead worship on the Modesto and Ceres campus every weekend. As a member of the Worship Band you will be scheduled as a part of a rotation. We are able to be flexible and accommodating to your schedule.

Dress – Members of our Worship Bands will be following the BVG Worship Dress Style Guide.

Ages – Our Worship Bands are open to anyone ages 12 and up. Worship Band members who are under 18 are not required to be accompanied by an adult, but they must be mature enough to not be a distraction during rehearsals and gatherings. Parental discretion is advised.

Rehearsals & Preparation – Modesto Campus Worship Band usually rehearses at 2pm on Saturdays. Ceres Campus Worship Band rehearses at 7:30am on Sunday. Since we will not have a regular mid-week rehearsal, musical preparation will happen on your own time. We will be providing digital rehearsal resources two weeks before each scheduled date.

We also prefer the Worship Band members to be available to serve on either campus.

Scheduling & Resources – All scheduling will be handled through Planning Center Services. Planning Center Services is accessible through any web browser or on a mobile device using the Planning Center App, which you can download here:
